After completing the Basic Beginners course, will have a grasp of the basics of the language including basic greetings, daily expressions, and sentence construction. This course will expose students to written Korean characters for reading and writing but will emphasize conversational applications of the language. As such, this level will focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and basic sentence construction. This course will cover the first part of TOPIK 1 exam (Students should complete A1+A2 to sit for TOPIK 1

Students that complete this level will be ready to attempt the TOPIK 1 exam. This level will equip students with the required vocabulary, and language skills to carry out simple conversations related to daily routines. Students will have roughly 1,500 to 2,000 vocabulary words.

As an independent user, one will be able to navigate everyday life situations such as shopping, traveling via public transit and daily life conversation with ease. Students will have a good command of the foundations of the language and can begin to express themselves at a higher level, such as presenting ideas, elaborate on discussions, express abstract ideas and opinions, as well as make convincing arguments.

After completing the advance user course, students will able to read and discuss complex articles on a variety of subjects and provide opinions. Students will be able to watch Korean movies without subtitles, read newspapers articles and novels. This level would be required for professional work environments as a minimum.
